MINAGUINDANAO MASSACRE - 52 bodies were found

This video (shown in ABS-CBN) would reveal how unjust and how dirty politics is in the Philippines! Political Rivalry during elections is common , but this one in Maguindanao is undue.

Innocent civilians, media personnel and ordinary citizens were killed, nearly 50 deaths tallied up to date.

TYPHOON ONDOY LEFT FILIPINO FAMILIES WITH NOTHING , NO FOOD, NO SHELTER, WRECKED HOMES!!

Ondoy!! Typhoon Ondoy has wrecked lots of houses in Metro Manila, Pasig, Marikina, Laguna, Rizal and lots of places and provinces in Luzon. Might as well lael this one as FORCE MAJURE, its natures call to wake us up people to learn to take care of our MOTHER EARTH. I have clipped here few videos and some pics to move us. ACT NOW!!!

cars were moved by an irresistible force of Mother Nature. Is this a punishment from above?

-finding a way to get home...

LOTS OF LIFE LOST AND FAMILY AND HOMES DESTROYED

NOT ALL WERE RESCUED, MANY FILIPINOS ARE NOW SUFFERING FROM HUNGER AND ILLNESS, NO HOMES , NO FOOD, NO WARMTH, NO SHELTER , NO CLOTHING..
I BELIEVE THIS IS REALLY A LESSON FOR ALL OF US , TO BE MORE SENSITIVE , TO CARE AND AND TO ACT.

Only in the Philippines !! TARSIERS....
The smallest animal creature on earth, smallest primates. Maybe even smaller than your fist. Only active during nights and sleeps during the day. an be found in Leyte, Samar, Mindanao but mostly on BOHOL. They fill their tiny tummies with insects, cockroaches and crickets. They are afraid of flashes, that's why in Bohol where they have this small sanctuary, taking pictures with camera flash is not allowed.

You can visit the tarsier at the Philippine Tarsier Foundation, and see it in its natural habitat.

Clark Airbase Balloon Festival

HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL at Clark Airbase Pampanga, celebrated every second week of February.. Enjoy the balloons!!

Paraw Regatta Festival

Paraw Regatta Festival - Iloilo City

The Paraw Regatta Festival is a colorful boat race event in the straits between Iloilo City and Guimaras Island. It is called Paraw in the llongo vernacular. Paraw Regatta is celebrated every 3rd week of February where professional and amatuer artists do boat paintings a week before the festival. It is such of great honor of the Ilonggos to take pride and legacy to celebrate such festivity for it is likely to be the birth of the province and the Hiligaynons. And the festivity doesn't just end there, for there are a lot of fun-filled activities to look after, like Pintawo body painting contest, Miss Paraw, Beach Volleyball, and the Paraw Regatta Photo Competition. Plus to top it all, the highlights of the event is the Iloilo Governor Fishing Contest (a campaign against dynamite fishing).
